Shirley provides a safe, caring, supportive space for clients who are dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, divorce, mood disorders, childhood abuse trauma, childhood emotional neglect, PTSD, sexual abuse and assault, LGBTQIA issues, along with stress-related transitions such as college, work, marriage, and other life changes.

Interventions used are evidence-based and include the following: person-centered therapy, CBT, meditation, and interpersonal therapy. CBT strategies are employed for negative thoughts, overthinking, anxiety, depression, to name a few. Mindfulness meditation is encouraged for anxiety, depression, grief, and letting go of past psychological issues. I use techniques from these approaches to help you decide what will work best for you, as well as ways to help you grow personally.
